I dear this off-dry Washington Riesling with its bear on of natural sweetness. Aromas of peach and pear and sunshine. Enjoy as a chilled aperitif or companion to seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as ninety/100 with the post-obit review:

The 2016 vintage is articulate, brilliant pale gold colour. Consequent with the 2015 vintage. 100% riesling from Columbia Valley, Washington State, USA. The wine shows off-dry, medium body, crisp, tangy and mouthwatering with medium acidity. Elegant and vibrant aromatics of crisp Granny Smith Apple, nectarine and orange blossom. Flavour intensity medium on the palate, showing similar nose with wet limestone minerality, lime zest. This wine is available at an accessible toll point. Recommend pairing with spicy Szechuan, pad Thai or your favourite Southward Asian fare, such every bit vegan Indian. Tasted 2016 vintage in February 2018. 90 points.

Greg Hughes rated this wine equally ninety/100 with the post-obit review:

This Riesling is from the quirky, but reliable, Charles Smith Vino Company. Information technology is 100% Riesling from Aboriginal Lakes viticultural expanse of Washington State. The vines grow in complex soils on the Western end of a river bowl, nigh the town of Quincy.
Pale lemon color.
Smells similar really well-made Riesling. Pure, delicious, fragrant, and fruity.
It does take a touch of residual saccharide to it (maybe 15ish grams per litre?) It works, though, for a dry out/off dry style. Lots of ripeness and acerbity. Pure lemon juice, nectarine, lime amd zest, peapod, beeswax, and pear.
The flavours are actually nice and tropical. Loads of citrus and whote fruit. Mouthwatering and pretty ample; bigger and richer than this wine often is. This was a good vintage for Washington. Very few hiccups meant they were able to pick the grapes to maximize fresh acids without compromising ripeness.
Washington shows some dazzling unique terroir on par with any on the W-Coast. It'south 1 to sentry. I am only enjoying the ride as these go on to be affordable. How long will it last? Who knows!
Put this riesling with an authentic Mexican caesar salad or crab rolls.

Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine equally 89/100 with the following review:

Very pale straw in color with aromas of apricots, light-green apple, orange and white floral. It is off-dry, light bodied with medium acidity and has flavours of ripe peach, and green apple which lead into a long pleasant finish. This volition pair well with Asian foods. Tasted on May half dozen, 2018.

Courtney Overflowing rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Fresh peach and lime, a pretty straightforward Riesling. Medium body, medium acidity. A skilful, piece of cake-going food vino that would get with a lot of dishes like poached chicken, tangy cheeses (aged gouda, cheddar), spicy dishes like dahl or saag paneer (my favourite!).

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

On the nose, there are peach and red apple aromas, with clementine, mineral notes and subtle hints of tropical fruit.

On the palate, it has orchard fruit with clementine and a touch of lime with a bitter grapefruit terminate. It is medium bodied, has fresh but gentle acidity, and a touch of sweetness.

Sharon Lécuyer rated this vino as 88/100 with the post-obit review:

Aromas of apple tree and straw. Flavours of lemon and pear. Well balanced with good acerbity.

This off-dry wine would pair well with spicy food to cut the spiciness.

Cherie Cole rated this wine every bit 88/100 with the following review:

Ripe peach and apricot with orange blossom spring out of the drinking glass. Medium bodied with medium acerbity and a long, ripe rock fruit finish. Suggested pairing: spicy Indian. Tasted May 06, 2018.
